Green Lake Trek
 

Max elevation : 4909 mtr Trek Grade Mild

The Green Lake is the take off point for mountainerring expedition to the peakes of Kanchanzonga ranges.

"The hollow basin enclosed between the converging moraines of the Zemu and Green Lake glaciers has been very lately a lake and was now a lake basin" as Douglas W Freshfield writes in his book.

The absence of lake is sufficiently companciated by splendid views around just at the foot of big mass the Khanchanzonga, beautiful peaks of mt. Simvo are just on top of you beside herds of blue sheep and couple of musk deer.

Day 01 Kolkata airport arrival and evening transfer to train to Siliguri.
Day 02 Siliguri to Gangtok 5hrs drive.
Day 03

Gangtok sight seeings Rumtek Monastry, Tsomgo Lake, Tibetology, flower festivels.
Day 04 Gangtok to Lachen 2800mts 5hrs drive.
Day 05 Lachen to Talem 8kms 3200mts.
Day 06 Talem to Jakthang 5kms 3300mts.
Day 07 Jakthang to Yabuk 8kms 3900mts.
Day 08 Yabuk to Restcamp 7kms 4550mts.
Day 09 Restcamp to Green Lake 5kms 5090mts.
Day 10 Green Lake to Yabuk 11kms.
Day 11 Yabuk to Talem 13kms.
Day 12 Talem to Lachen trek Lachen to Singhik 3 hour drive.
Day 13 Singhik to Gangtok via Phodong Monastry and Labrang Monastry.
Day 14 Gangtok to Delhi/ Nepal/kolkata etc.
